This summer, BARTS enters a new chapter and transforms its legacy into BARTS Festival, bringing the spirit of the iconic Barcelona venue to the Poble Espanyol. From 28 June to 24 July, the festival celebrates live music as a meeting point for artists, audiences and the city, with a carefully curated programme that combines major international acts with leading names from the Spanish scene. The opening will feature the music of King Crimson, reinterpreted by the supergroup BEAT, with Steve Vai, Adrian Belew, Tony Levin and Danny Carey. The international line-up also includes Biffy Clyro, Belle & Sebastian, ZZ Top and Elvis Crespo. From the national scene, highlights include Joan Dausà, M-Clan, Antoñito Molina, Marta Santos, Lax'N'Busto and Ojete Calor. A summer proposal that revives the spirit of BARTS and reimagines it in festival format.
